Web Analytics

Web analytics has great potential for libraries. Not only is the website the primary contact for libraries with patrons, for many in the natural sciences it is the library. In addition, web analytics and web testing tools can provide supplemental data for every library program.

    Hi Joe

Just wanted to thank you for this, I thought I new GA, but your doc made me think about what GA could tell me about potential problem areas of the site, so I approach it with a lot more structure and purpose as opposed to random hunts for anomalies and a generals sense of ‘well it’s being used’.
