Marketing
Marketing and program development is one of my greatest interests in libraries. I think marketing and program development (along with assessment of these two) work together. Programs should be develop that fill recognized needs and they need to be properly promoted and assessed for value.
I serve on the reference marketing for the University of Wisconsin where I help update the twitter feed, work with the marketing team to develop promotions and design marketing materials. Here is an example of a screen saver that displays on all public computers that I designed:
